Rulon Kem England was born March 6,1942, in Tooele, Utah, to Reva and “Bus” England and passed away Sept. 15, 2024, at the age of 82. Kem spent the best time of his life racing motorcycles in the desert with the Buzzards motorcycle club. His philosophy was that if you weren’t broken or bleeding you didn’t have fun. He had a lot of fun. He carried that mindset on in mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and day-to-day life. He had a knowledge and expertise with computer technology that led him to travel extensively, most notably to Beijing, China, for four months, to teach, train, and provide service. Kem was a Vietnam era veteran serving aboard the carrier Forrestall. Kem will be remembered for being a good man. He was kind, caring, helpful, sharing of his knowledge and expertise. Kem was a loving husband to his wife Patricia and friend to her sons. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and felt blessed and honored to have them.

He is survived by his wife Patricia England, sister Carol (Gil) Orme, brother Jim (Diana) England, and his much-loved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard England.

A celebration of life will be held Oct. 5, 2024, from 12 to 2 p.m., in The Chateau at Le Jardin, 1910 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, Utah.
