Tooele County is represented in the State House by two representatives, one from District #28 with boundaries entirely within Tooele County—including parts of Lake Point, east Erda, PIne Canyon, and Tooele City. The county shares House District 29 with Juab and Millard counties along with Grantsville, west Erda, Stockton Vernon, Rush Valley Wendover, and the West Desert.

Republican Tim Jimenez was elected two years ago from House District #28. He did not run for re-election in 2024. Nicholeen Peck, the Republican candidate for the district, ended election night with 67.8% of the votes. Her Democratic challenger, Fred Baker, holds 32.2% of the preliminary votes.

For 23 years, Peck taught school at private academies and colleges and homeschooled as well. She has spent 13 years as a family advocate for our state against federal and international overreach in order to keep our families and communities safe.

In State House District #29, preliminary results show incumbent Bridger Bolinder of Grantsville with 75.8% of the vote in Tooele County and 74.5% of the vote district-wide. Bolinder has just completed his first term in the State House of Representatives.
