RaNay Jane Rudie, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and “Nana” of Tooele, Utah, passed away Sept. 17, 2024, after decline of health following a semi-truck accident last November, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

RaNay was born in Tooele on Nov. 9, 1955, to Eldon and Joyce Feuerbach. She graduated from Tooele High School in 1974. She went on to have a career as an accounting technician at Tooele Army Depot for over 40 years before retiring in 2018.

RaNay was a devoted mother to her kids Danielle, Kenneth, and her bonus son Christopher. She was a loving nana to her granddaughters Jade, Allie, and Hailey. All of whom were her pride and joy. She always said they were her reason for living, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.

RaNay took special joy in all manner of crafts including crocheting, needlework, ceramics, painting, and gardening. She had many fond memories of sharing those hobbies with her granddaughters and her “Jazzy pup” by her side.

RaNay is preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Joyce, sister Robin, brothers Roger and Robert. She is survived by sisters Rhonda and Rayna, her children and grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
